Ovechkin has now scored in consecutive games and has three goals of his last four after beating Los Angeles Kings goaltender Darcy Kuemper, his former teammate. Ovechkin's latest strike came after Connor McMichael found him wide open in front of the net after Cody Ceci blew his coverage.
