Nintendo has announced that the Switch 2, along with enhanced versions of several popular titles, including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, will launch on June 5. Content creator Ikaboze recently showcased a speedrun of the game, completing it in just seven minutes at a preview event. The upcoming Switch 2 Editions promise improved graphics, frame rates, and new functionalities. Additionally, current Switch users can upgrade to these editions for a fee, while some original games will receive performance improvements on the new console.

The demo featured multiple save files and a 10-minute timer, allowing Ikaboze to utilize their speedrunning experience effectively.
Nintendo announced that existing Switch owners can upgrade to Switch 2 editions of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom for just $10.
