Ubisoft's The Rogue Prince of Persia launches on consoles with availability on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud, Xbox on PC, and PS5, with Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 arrivals later this year. The PC 1.0 release remains scheduled for August. The game is developed by Evil Empire and published by Ubisoft; early access Steam reviews have been positive, including an 8/10 from GameSpot. The game is set in Ctesiphon where a new prince must defend the city after provoking the Hun army and use a mystical artifact to time travel to avoid permanent death. Other August Game Pass additions include Gears of War: Reloaded, Persona 4: Golden, Void/Breaker, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

The Rogue Prince of Persia takes place in the city of Ctesiphon, and it casts the player as a new prince who foolishly provoked the Hun army. In response, the Hun chief, Nogai, has sent his possessed soldiers into Ctesiphon to destroy it. Now, the prince has to defend his city and use a mystical artifact to time travel and prevent himself from being permanently killed by his enemies.
