WWE 2K25 Release Date Announced, Adds Open-World Mode And Bloodline Showcase
Briefly

WWE 2K25 has been officially detailed, revealing its release date of March 14 and earlier access for certain editions. The game's Showcase mode centers around The Bloodline, featuring prominent wrestlers like Roman Reigns and The Rock, hosted by Paul Heyman. Offering a mix of reliving and rewriting matches, it includes dream match scenarios. Additionally, the new open-world mode called The Island allows for social multiplayer interactions, reminiscent of NBA 2K's The City, enhancing player engagement with various challenges and events.
With Roman Reigns on the cover, the era-spanning Showcase mode will tell the story of The Bloodline, the Samoan wrestling family dynasty that includes blood relatives and 'adopted' family members.
The mode will also alter the typical goals of Showcase mode, allowing players to relive, rewrite past matches, and even play out dream matches we never saw happen.
The Island is an open-world social multiplayer space where players can take on challenges and compete in live events, similar to NBA 2K's The City.
Players who buy the Undertaker-celebrating Deadman Edition or The Bloodline Edition will get into the game a week early on March 7.
