Blizzard closed out today's celebration of the Warcraft franchise's 30th anniversary with a short teaser announcing the long-awaited feature as part of the next World of Warcraft expansion, Midnight.
The feature arriving with Midnight appears to hew closer to community expectations by matching the player housing experiences in other MMOs like Final Fantasy XIV and The Elder Scrolls Online.
World of Warcraft players went wild over the announcement, filling social media with capslocked and exclamation-pointed excitement.
'Cannot believe they finally gave in,' wrote one surprised Reddit user. 'People been asking for this for forever. Only took the better part of two decades but they got there.'
