Sega has announced that Virtua Fighter 5 REVO will make its way to Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This enhanced version, initially released on PC in January, features significant upgrades such as rollback netcode and 4K support. During the Virtua Fighter Direct, which took place on May 11, it was revealed that cross-play will be part of the console release, allowing players to connect across platforms. Producer Seiji Aoki hinted at more content beyond a simple port and introduced a new tournament with a substantial prize, alongside a tease of the next installment in the franchise.
