Sandfall Interactive, known for its recent RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, plans to develop another video game. COO François Meurisse emphasized that the team has gained experience and skills during the production process, positioning them to tackle future projects more efficiently. The success of Clair Obscur exceeded their expectations, selling 2 million copies in just 12 days. Broche, who initially conceived the idea for the game, is already brainstorming new concepts, hinting at a promising direction for the company's next title.
"There will be another video game, for sure," Meurisse said. The executive wasn't ready to announce specifics necessarily, which makes sense considering Clair Obscur launched only just over a month ago.
"Plus the team has grown up, has acquired new skills throughout production... I can't wait to get to the next project, because we'll start from a more efficient position than when we started the company five years ago."
Meurisse admitted they never expected this type of success as the RPG 'smashed our forecasts pretty fast.' In addition, the game's soundtrack has been a hit, too.
