The one-man-army behind a Raid-inspired beat-'em-up answers all of our questions
Briefly

Fajrul FN, an independent game developer from Indonesia, gained exposure for his upcoming game, Acts of Blood, after being contacted by Geoff Keighley of Summer Game Fest. The game, inspired by popular beat-'em-up titles and Fajrul's personal interests in films and UFC, showcases graphic combat. Initially a learning project for Fajrul, the development process involved utilizing various online tutorials due to his background as a 3D artist, demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in game design.
Honestly, one of the weirdest things about Acts of Blood is that the whole game started as a personal learning project... If you looked at the early Blueprints, you'd probably see a Frankenstein mix of nodes from five different creators.
These hobbies are a big part of what shapes me as a person, and they're also what inspire my work and the games I create.
