The Nintendo Switch 2's System Transfer Is Great If You Do It Correctly
Briefly

Setting up a Nintendo Switch 2 is exciting, especially for gamers eager to jump into titles like Mario Kart. To enhance this experience, users are encouraged to transfer data from their original Nintendo Switch using the new System Transfer tool. This tool allows for seamless migration of accounts, save data, and software. Users can opt for either Cloud or Local System Transfer. However, there's a catch: transferring data will lead to deletion of the original Switch's data, which complicates the setup process.
Unfortunately, neither of these methods will move things over without deleting something on your original Nintendo Switch. Using the Cloud System Transfer will "initialize" your console after sending the data to Nintendo's server.
The Switch 2's System Transfer tool makes this a pretty simple process—but it can also be pretty hectic thanks to some improperly explained restrictions.
