CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, previously known as Project Orion, has moved into the pre-production phase. This development comes after the team completed the conceptual phase of the project. Additionally, CDPR announced that the expansion ‘Phantom Liberty’ has sold 10 million copies since its late 2023 release, contributing to the overall success of the Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.
