Tabletop artist transforms the Golden Girls into Warhammer 40K supersoldiers
Briefly

Artist Adam Huenecke creatively combines his passion for '80s sitcoms and tabletop wargaming by portraying The Golden Girls as warriors in Warhammer 40K. He collaborated with Black Site Studios to create custom miniature head sculpts. Huenecke's designs reflect the characters’ personalities, aligning them with Warhammer’s Sisters of Battle. His extensive preparation involved researching each character's characteristics to ensure accuracy in their representations as dynamic battle-hardened figures. Huenecke has been working on this concept for years and finally realized it, showcasing a unique crossover in fan art.
I'm a massive Golden Girls fan, so I can think of no better leadership for my Adeptus Sororitas.
the crossover was a natural result of being a lifelong fan of The Golden Girls and miniature painting.
Due to the Golden Girls dressing as nuns at various points in the series, Huenecke figured Warhammer 40K 's pseudo-religious Sisters of Battle were a 'natural fit'.
I had to modify the miniatures a little to fit some of the characteristics of each Girl.
