After months of rumors, speculation, and fan castings, Keanu Reeves has been cast as Shadow the Hedgehog in Sonic 3, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Footage from CinemaCon revealed Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and a depressed Dr. Robotnik, played by Jim Carrey, fighting against Shadow in the upcoming Sonic 3 movie.
Keanu Reeves had a cameo in the first live-action Sonic film in a TV scene referencing his film 'Speed,' leading to speculations about potential nods in Sonic 3.
Apart from Reeves, other actors like Krysten Ritter and Cristo Fernandez have also joined the cast of Sonic 3, set to be released in December 2022.
