The 2025 Pokémon World Championships in Anaheim showcased various competitive scenes and revealed several announcements. Pokémon Go will feature Eternatus in its Max Finale on August 23-24. Pokémon TCG Pocket will introduce new Mega Evolution cards, including Mega Altaria, Gyarados, and Blaziken. In Pokémon Unite, new characters Empoleon, Dhelmise, and Vaporeon will be added to the roster. The regular Trading Card Game is anticipated to launch Mega cards for Mega Charizard X, Mega Gardevoir, and Mega Lucario early next year.
Players at Worlds were able to get Eternatus early, as if those of us who couldn't make it to Anaheim needed more reasons to feel FOMO.
