PlayStation Plus Moving Away From Monthly PS4 Games
Briefly

Sony will discontinue making PS4 games a key offering in PlayStation Plus starting January 2026, reflecting a shift towards promoting PS5 titles. This transition, stated as part of the overall evolution of the service, will see PS4 games offered less frequently. However, titles already redeemed will remain accessible as long as the subscription is active. Sony also promised to enhance and optimize benefits for subscribers over time, aiming to enrich the gaming experience with new PS5 titles monthly.
As we shift to PS5, PS4 games will no longer be a key benefit and will only be occasionally offered for PlayStation Plus Monthly Games and Game Catalog starting January 2026.
For Game Catalog, PS4 games will still be available to play until it leaves the catalog as part of our monthly refresh.
We plan to continue to evolve PS Plus and will optimize the benefits you receive over time.
As we shift our focus to PS5, we look forward to adding new PS5 titles monthly for you to enjoy.
