PlayStation is reportedly changing strategy so major single-player PlayStation games will no longer be released on PC. The change was communicated to employees during a town hall by Hermen Hulst, who leads PlayStation studios business. Earlier reporting indicated Sony canceled plans for PC versions of last year’s Ghost of Yōtei and other internally developed games. Online and live-service games are expected to continue launching on multiple platforms. Sony has previously released many major titles on PC, including Spider-Man 2, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us games, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and multiplayer games such as Helldivers 2. Hulst previously promised “day and date” releases for live service games, while single-player PC releases have been less consistent.

Online games will still come to multiple platforms following this change in strategy, Schreier reported at the time."
