Nintendo has taken legal action against Pocketpair for its popular game Palworld, claiming patent infringement over the ‘Poké Ball’-like capturing mechanism.
Despite legal troubles from Nintendo, Pocketpair continues to develop Palworld and plans to launch a new expansion, Feybreak, on December 23.
The game, which saw massive success after its launch on Xbox Game Pass, will add a new island six times larger than its previous one.
The upcoming update for Palworld will introduce new pals, weapons, architecture styles, and a boss fight with a new faction leader.
