Oblivion Remastered doesn't have official mod support: cue over 85 mods in less than 24 hours, including six different attempts to make it look more like the original
Briefly

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has launched without official mod support, yet modders quickly produced over 90 mods within its first 24 hours. These include multiple visual reshades aimed at replicating the distinctive 2006 graphics. The absence of developer-sanctioned mod tools hasn’t hindered creativity; an early script extender called ‘UE4SS for OblivionRemastered’ has also emerged, hinting at future potential for more complex mods. Bethesda has advised players to avoid mods if facing issues, reinforcing their lack of support for user modifications.
In its official FAQ about Oblivion Remastered, Bethesda confirmed that "Mods are not supported..." even as 90 mods emerged within hours of the game's release.
Despite Bethesda's warning, modders have already supplied an array of over 90 mods including visual reshades aimed at recreating Oblivion's classic 2006 look.
