Nintendo Japan announced that the Japanese versions of the Nintendo Classic Mini Family Computer and the Nintendo Classic Mini Super Famicom will soon run out of repair parts.
Despite the announcement, Nintendo will still accept repairs for the Classic Edition consoles but lacks a definitive timeline for how long it can do so.
The Classic Edition consoles have a limited stockpile of spare parts due to lower production numbers compared to other systems like the Wii U.
Nintendo of America's support pages do not indicate plans to discontinue repairs for NES or SNES Classic Edition consoles, but confirmation is pending.
