Ahead of the final season of Stranger Things, Sandbox VR is launching a new virtual reality game titled Stranger Things: Catalyst, which allows players to virtually step into iconic locations and confront supernatural threats from the Upside Down. The game emphasizes immersion through unique abilities and the use of haptic feedback vests. Releasing in November, the experience aims to resonate with fans eager to engage with the beloved series. This game follows previous virtual experiences like Squid Game Virtuals and Rebel Moon: The Descent.
Sandbox VR's Founder and CEO, Steve Zhao states the game will allow fans to 'physically step into the story they've watched unfold over the past seasons'.
Stranger Things: Catalyst recreates iconic locations from the series and enables players to face supernatural threats from the Upside Down dimension.
The game features unique abilities and immersive experiences with haptic feedback vests to enhance gameplay.
This isn't the first time a Stranger Things game has been made, as a standalone VR title was released back in 2017 for PS4.
