Monster Hunter Wilds Looks Very Washed Out But Changing These Settings Can Help
Briefly

Monster Hunter Wilds can visually vary from beautiful to dull. To enhance gameplay on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, players are encouraged to adjust display settings like lowering brightness to zero, increasing saturation, and turning off motion blur for sharper graphics. The game is better appreciated during daytime or clearer weather, while also offering the option to enable the Felyne Language for a more immersive experience with in-game characters. These modifications can significantly enhance both the visual fidelity and overall enjoyment of the game.
Turning the first two brightness sliders all the way down and keeping the third slider where it would normally be helped up the contrast for me.
I jacked up the saturation and contrast to try and bring out more definition and color and that also helped.
If you play a lot of games you probably instinctively do this already. If not, here's your perennial reminder to toggle motion blur off.
Monster Hunter Wilds defaults to your Palico pals speaking in English, but you can change it so they speak in their native cat tongue instead.
