"The release date for the Switch and Switch 2 game was revealed at today's Nintendo Direct, alongside a new trailer showcasing Samus riding a futuristic motorcycle. The video starts with Samus getting on the motorbike, which is called Vi-O-La. The bounty hunter is then seen speeding across a large desert open-world area and fighting on the motorcycle. Other locales include a snowy setting where Samus fights against wolf-like creatures in a blizzard."
"Alongside the release date, Nintendo also unveiled three new amiibo based on Metroid Prime 4. Two figurines will come out November 6: Samus and then another with Samus riding Vi-O-La. Then, on December 4, a Sylux amiibo will become available. Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced at E3 2017--over eight years ago. However, the game was rebooted in early 2019, with Retro Studios taking over development."
