The roughly 70-second video features the bounty hunter's gunship in aerial combat and a pretty slick motorcycle move by Samus that's an homage to the Akira slide. The Metroid Prime 4 trailer--seen below--also highlights a variety of locales on the mysterious planet. Samus finds herself in a lush jungle, outside a spiky black building that would look at home in The Matrix, and what we can only assume is the obligatory lava area at one point.

The latest game in the Assassin's Creed series may be making its way to Nintendo Switch 2 soon, and according to some recent rumors, its arrival is already looking a little rocky. Developer Ubisoft hasn't even confirmed whether Assassin's Creed Shadows is really heading to Switch 2, but evidence of the port is stacking up, with some details suggesting that it will be running headfirst into the new console's biggest controversy and one of its most anticipated games.

Ahead of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond's release this December, fans of the iconic Nintendo series can revisit the original Prime Trilogy in written form. On October 28, an official Metroid Prime Trilogy retrospective will be published by Piggyback, the strategy guide publisher best known for its excellent Legend of Zelda guidebooks. Today's Nintendo Direct featured all kinds of announcements and reveals, from The Super Mario Galaxy Movie to a new Yoshi game to a Metroid Prime 4: Beyond release date and more. It also featured a fresh batch of amiibo releasing over the coming months for games like Super Mario Galaxy 1 and Super Mario Galaxy 2, Kirby Air Riders, and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
