Wizards Of The Coast announced its plans for 2025, featuring seven main expansions for Magic: The Gathering, marking a significant year for the franchise.
2025 will see the first Universes Beyond-themed set legal in MTG's Standard format, allowing for exciting new gameplay possibilities. This change comes after the previous UB set was only legal in Modern, expanding accessibility.
A highly-anticipated return to an MSRP-style format for selling Magic: The Gathering products will be implemented, starting with the Foundations set on November 15.
The year will kick off with a remaster set featuring cards from a spooky plane and will include three in-universe and three collaboration sets.
