Vinit Agarwal announced his departure from Naughty Dog after a decade of work, including on Uncharted and The Last of Us. He is relocating to Japan to establish a new game studio. Agarwal previously contributed to the canceled multiplayer title, The Last of Us Online. He expressed gratitude for his experiences and mentorship at Naughty Dog. Following his exit, only Neil Druckmann remains among the other senior staff, with new projects like Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and potentially more in development at Naughty Dog.
Couple of life updates: Moving to Japan tomorrow. Also forming a game studio-more on that soon!
Today's my last day Naughty Dog. Grateful for my decade there, but I've decided to pursue a new adventure, to make something of my own.
