Killing Floor 3 Delayed, Post-Launch Update To Undo A Controversial Change
Briefly

Tripwire Interactive has delayed the release of Killing Floor 3, initially scheduled for March 25, to an undisclosed date later in the year. The delay aims to implement significant changes based on beta feedback, particularly separating perk classes from character selections, which previously caused controversy among players. The studio, with support from parent company Embracer Group, is addressing various player concerns related to performance and user experience. Preorders will see varying refund policies depending on the platform, including automatic cancellations and refunds on platforms like Epic Games Store and Xbox.
Chief among those changes is a post-release update that will separate perk classes from characters, letting the two be chosen independently.
With the full support of our parent company, Embracer Group, we're working together on a timeline to address many of the common issues players had during the beta.
Refunds for preorders will vary between platforms. US-based PlayStation preorders will have the option to keep it or cancel.
Killing Floor 3 is a multiplayer survival horror game set in 2091, 70 years after the events of Killing Floor 2.
