To capture the danger of Arrakis in Dune: Awakening, Funcom riffed on its earlier success with survival title Conan Exiles.
From Bylos's description, Dune: Awakening starts you on Arrakis as a castaway. Stuck in the desert with no provisions, you immediately have to worry about Awakening's three main elements of survival: finding water, securing shelter, and avoiding sandworms.
