How To Increase Inventory Space In Hytale - Backpack Upgrade Guide
"To increase the size of your inventory, you need to unlock and use the backpack in Hytale. The backpack is a separate item from the default inventory, but its sole goal is to give you more slots to put items. Fortunately, the backpack is unlocked fairly early on in Hytale, as all you have to do is upgrade your workbench to tier two."
"Once you have those resources, approach your workbench, choose the option to upgrade it to tier two, and then you'll have an entirely new set of recipes unlocked. One of these recipes is the backpack, which can be crafted using these resources: Medium Leather is acquired through the Tanning Rack station, while Iron Ingots can be smelted at a Furnace after you get some Iron Ore. With these resources, go to your tier two workbench, and craft a backpack from the "Tinkering" tab."
Starting inventory space in Hytale is sufficient for early gameplay since resources and gear are limited. Inventory fills up as more materials are gathered, necessitating additional storage. A backpack unlocks extra slots by upgrading the workbench to tier two, which requires 20x Iron Ingot, 20x Linen Scraps, and 30x Copper Ingot. After upgrading, a backpack recipe appears in the Tinkering tab; crafting requires Medium Leather and Iron Ingots. Equipping the crafted paper and right-clicking learns the backpack recipe and permanently adds nine additional inventory slots. The backpack can be upgraded later to increase inventory capacity further.
