Kyurem now has the ability to fuse with Reshiram and Zekrom, transforming into White Kyurem or Black Kyurem, with mechanics similar to Necrozma's fusions. This fusion debuted during the Go Tour: Unova event. Fused Pokémon cannot battle but remain visible. To fuse, you need the respective fusion energy, specific candies, and the move Glaciate. Participation in raids against Black or White Kyurem will yield necessary fusion energy, while additional energy can be obtained through specific research tasks, enhancing gameplay experience with powerful moves and Adventure Effects.

The addition of Fusion Effects means that Black and White Kyurem are powerful in battle as well as in their Adventure Effects outside of battle.
Fusing requires a Kyurem, its respective counterpart Pokémon (Zekrom for Black and Reshiram for White), fusion energy, and certain candies, with Glaciate being essential.
To acquire fusion energy, players will need to challenge Black or White Kyurem in raids, also available through specific research tasks and Fusion Energy codes.
