Dragon Age: The Veilguard has three endings. Broadly and arguably too-simply, there's a good ending, a neutral ending, and a bad ending.
To get the 'bad' ending, you'll have to choose 'But I want to fight you' at which point you'll fight Solas and bind him to the Veil.
For the neutral ending, you'll have to choose 'Let's try this your way' so you can trick Solas with the fake dagger.
