Roblox users can replace the default avatar using the Avatar Editor to create unique looks, outfits, or themed appearances like ninjas. The Avatar Editor displays recently acquired inventory items ready to wear. Additional items are purchasable with Robux in the Marketplace or obtainable as free redeemables. On the website, select Avatar on the left to open the Avatar Editor, then click items to equip or click again to remove them. On mobile devices, tap Avatar at the bottom, choose Customize, then tap categories to view owned items and marketplace recommendations; tapping an equipped item removes it. Gender is initially selected during account creation but can be changed later.
The default Roblox avatar is iconic, but there's a good chance you want to alter it to make yourself look a tad more unique. This is where the Avatar Editor comes in, as while some experiences will force you to alter your appearance on launching the game, others will resort to your default look. Not only can you get an outfit that suits you, but you also have the freedom to give your avatar some swagger or act like a ninja.
Luckily, it's easy to make some changes to your outfit, provided that you have a bunch of items in your inventory. To get more custom items, you'll need to spend Roblox Robux in the Marketplace, or try to find some of the free items you can redeem to your profile. Once you have a couple of items, here's how you equip them:
