"Overload is a 6v6 respawn mode that tasks teams with fighting to gain possession of an overload device. Overload begins with players rushing to grab the overload device. Once they have it, the team possessing it must protect the carrier as they attempt to bring it to a designated zone. Overload is a back-and-forth game of attack and defend, and this is also the new competitive game mode for the Call of Duty League."
Black Ops 7 launches on November 14 with multiplayer details confirmed for launch. The game includes 18 multiplayer maps: 16 core 6v6 maps and two large-scale 20v20 maps for the new Skirmish mode. The map roster mixes mostly new maps with remasters from Black Ops 2, and Nuketown 2025 arrives as a pre-season map before Season 1. Twelve game modes are available at launch across core and hardcore playlists, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search and Destroy, and Hardpoint. The new Overload mode is a 6v6 respawn objective where teams fight to secure and escort an overload device. Overload will serve as the new competitive mode for the Call of Duty League.
