Helldivers 2 is still Arrowhead's "main focus", as its CEO suggests work on its next game will kick off "later this year" with "freedom to explore some really cool concepts"
Briefly

Arrowhead's CEO, Shams Jorjani, reassures players of Helldivers 2's continued development amidst discussions of future projects. Recent updates include a significant game patch and new features, alongside the studio's push against in-game foes. While there's excitement about their upcoming Game 6, Jorjani emphasizes Helldivers 2 remains their primary focus for the foreseeable future, easing concerns of players about the studio diverting resources. He notes that the next game will be self-funded, allowing creative freedom and no regional purchase locks, with no end date for Helldivers 2 content updates planned so far.
the wonderful thing is that thanks to the amazing support of you FINE people Arrowhead's future is quite bright and we have the freedom to explore some really cool concepts that we couldn't have otherwise. Game 6 (our next project) will happen the way it will happen thanks to you.
Nah. It's ALL Helldivers 2 for now. A very, very small team will spin up something later this year and go at it sloowly. Helldivers is our main focus and will be for a loooong time.
