God Of War Composer Says He Could Return To The Series

Bear McCreary said he would be open to returning to the God of War franchise if there were an opportunity to expand upon his previous work. A God of War television adaptation for Prime Video and continued game entries could provide such opportunities. McCreary expressed pride in the music he composed for the series and noted the games are expansive and enjoyed by fans. He said he is always looking for interesting projects and people to collaborate with and is very interested in composing for independent or AA games because of their experimentation. McCreary has three Grammy nominations and credits across television and film.
