The upcoming anime adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima, announced at CES 2025, aims to offer fans a new experience with its compelling Legends mode and groundbreaking animation.
Rather than focusing on the main character Jin Sakai, the series will delve into the Legends mode, featuring a samurai, ronin, assassin, and hunter fighting supernatural threats, enhancing the game’s mythological elements.
Sony Music and PlayStation Studios are collaborating with Crunchyroll and Aniplex to bring the series to life, with a tentative release window in 2027.
Asad Qizilbash expressed excitement stating, "Having already proven the immense quality and versatility of our gaming properties across multiple successful film and television projects, we couldn't be more excited to announce our first ever anime adaptation."
