Gears of War: Reloaded launched as the series' first PlayStation entry and mirrors the original game's Achievement list, producing an identical Trophy list. The sole PlayStation-exclusive Trophy is a Platinum titled "Nothin' Left" with the description "Your adventure is over, for now...", implying future PlayStation releases. The Platinum's presence and Xbox's shift toward publishing across platforms increase the likelihood of additional Gears titles coming to PlayStation, possibly including remasters of Gears of War 2 and 3 and the upcoming prequel Gears of War: E-Day. Reloaded reached one million players within four days, though PlayStation sales figures remain undisclosed.
Indeed, Gears of War: Reloaded itself seems to be teasing that fact. Reloaded has exactly the same Achievement list as the original game, which means the PlayStation Trophy list is also identical. Except, of course, for one Trophy: the Platinum. Earned by unlocking every single other Trophy, the Platinum has no equivalent on Xbox. And those cheeky buggers at The Coalition have used that fact to tease more Gears.
The Platinum Trophy is called "Nothin' Left" and this is its description: "Your adventure is over, for now..." That is a fairly clear message that more Gears of War games are coming to PlayStation. The obvious hope is that the rest of the original trilogy will get the remaster treatment, finally bringing the awesome Gears of War 2 and Gears of War 3 to modern hardware instead of using Xbox back-compat.
Right now, we don't know how successful Reloaded has been. We do know it hit a million players in its first four days, but no sales data for PlayStation has been announced.
