First Metal Gear Solid Delta Update Addresses Crashing Issues And Floating-Snake Bug
Briefly

Konami released update 1.1.2 for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, rolling out on Steam on August 28 and on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S subsequently. The patch primarily resolves multiple crash conditions tied to survival knife attacks, removing the Crocodile Cap, and collecting food near hungry crocodiles, as well as issues in areas using Intrusion View. The update corrects a visual bug that could make Snake float when transitioning from a roll into a crawl and fixes occasional movement restrictions. A Fox Hunt hide-and-seek multiplayer mode is planned for the fall and the game uses mostly original voice recordings.
Earlier this week, The Boss voice actress Lori Alan marked the launch of Metal Gear Solid Delta by dressing up as the character she first helped bring to life in 2004's PS2 classic. The new game utilizes the original's voice recordings (except in a few spots), something that Snake voice actor David Hayter wished he could have changed. Meanwhile, the developers behind Metal Gear Solid Delta hope series creator Hideo Kojima sees how "respectful" it is.
Version 1.1.2 Patch Notes Resolved an issue where performing consecutive survival knife attacks to secure food could cause the game to crash under certain conditions. Fixed an issue where removing the Crocodile Cap from the Survival Viewer while equipped could cause the game to crash under certain conditions. Addressed crashes that could occur when collecting food near a hungry crocodile under certain conditions.
