"Teleport Job: Time Mage Cost: 3,000 JP Why it's great: You can move anywhere on the map, but with a decreasing chance of success the farther away from your current location the spot is. It breaks some maps entirely by letting you cross chasms or hop on the other side of barriers. It's also perfect for Mages who want to cast a spell and then teleport out of range."
"Thanks to its excellent job system, there are hundreds of abilities your characters can learn in Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. Some of them are trash. Some of them are fun but mid. Here are the godlike ones. Abilities in Final Fantasy Tactics come in four types: action, reaction, support, and movement. Below I've listed the best abilities to unlock in the latter three categories."
Final Fantasy Tactics contains hundreds of job abilities across action, reaction, support, and movement categories. Movement, support, and reaction abilities provide universal utility regardless of job or chosen action abilities. Teleport grants map-spanning repositioning with a distance-based failure chance, enabling crossing chasms, bypassing barriers, and tactical retreats after casting. Ignore Elevation removes height-based movement restrictions to climb structures and avoid teleport failure. Fly enables aerial movement to bypass or escape enemies and offers unique evasion. Movement +3 provides a significant mobility boost for eligible units. Recommended action abilities include Chakra, Revive, Raise, Holy, Flare, Cyclops, Lich, and versatile Item, Geomancy, and Iaido actions.
