Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has four magical elements and materia orbs for each, available in shops and as trial rewards for Combat Simulator.
While these elemental orbs can be found scattered or bought in shops, leveling up materia enables casting more potent spells like Fira and Firaga in battle.
