We were never going to beat Bethesda with computer graphics. So we took a page from Ridley Scott's book for the original Alien.
That meant building a ton of original props for the show - including actually functional Pip-Boys and power armor for the Brotherhood of Steel.
Even with a virtual model, the team faced the challenge of building a whole suit for the power armor inspired by the T-60 model.
