CES 2025 provided even more fodder for the rumor mill, with accessory manufacturer Genki showing off a 3D printed mock-up of the console that combines features rumored to be included in the upcoming Switch successor.
According to Dbrand CEO Adam Ijaz, the Killswitch is based on the "actual dimensions" of the new console obtained from a "3D scan of the real hardware," hinting at a significant upgrade over existing models.
Leaks suggest the new console will be larger than the Switch OLED and include an 8-inch screen, alongside redesigned controllers that combat the ongoing issue of Joy-Con drift.
The only confirmed feature of the new Nintendo console is its backward compatibility with the Switch, amidst growing speculation about its specifications and hardware.
