Bethesda announced that Doom: The Dark Ages has become the biggest launch in the history of ID Software, with over three million players within its first week. This figure is notable as it was reached faster than its predecessor, Doom Eternal. Available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X, the game also launched on Xbox Game Pass, significantly contributing to its player base. Players experience a medieval war with new gameplay changes, melee weapons, and the ability to parry attacks, creating a fresh approach to the franchise.
