Key personnel involved in the development of Donkey Kong Bananza have been disclosed. Kenta Motokura serves as producer and crafted the game's concept. Kazuya Takahashi is one of the directors focusing on game design, level design, cut scenes, and text. Wataru Tanaka, the programming director, directs processing performance and enemy behaviour. Daisuke Watanabe oversees overall art direction, while Naoto Kubo, the sound director, coordinates sound development and composes music for the game.
"I crafted the game's concept and set the direction for the overall structure and player controls," Motokura added.
Takahashi is one of the directors on Donkey Kong Bananza and he says he gave direction on the game design and worked on the level design, cut scenes, and text creation.
Tanaka provided direction on the processing performance and utilization of system functions for Switch 2, as well as enemy behaviour.
Kubo added that he coordinated overall sound development on Bananza and also composed some of its music.
