Rue Valley is an isometric, story-driven RPG available on PC, last- and current-gen Xbox and PlayStation platforms, and Nintendo Switch. The protagonist is trapped in a timeloop where each reset alters his abilities and personality while memories and knowledge carry across loops. Players unlock new dialogue options and interactions as remembered information accumulates across loops. Personality shifts can make the character a cold-hearted loner in one loop and a melodramatic loudmouth in another, changing available approaches. A central mystery and other characters' personal lives anchor the narrative and enable exploration of serious themes. Emotion Spark Studio collaborated with Movember to address men's mental health and encourage positive change.
