Blizzard's Diablo IV and the Vessel of Hatred expansion are confirmed to receive a PS5 Pro enhancement, marking it as the first Microsoft game to have a PS5 Pro upgrade. Rod Fergusson emphasized his pride in the team making this enhancement possible.
Since Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard became official in October 2023, they've begun bringing several titles such as Sea of Thieves and Grounded to PlayStation, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between the two companies.
Diablo IV, which launched in June 2023, is the 55th title to receive a PS5 Pro enhancement as anticipation grows around its compatibility with the newly released PS5 Pro. The Vessel of Hatred expansion is slated for October 7.
The PS5 Pro, which launches in November at $700, will not include a disc drive by default, but buyers can opt for a $80 add-on, with preorder opportunities having varied success.
