A new mod for Cyberpunk 2077, 'Gone Away - Better Partner Suspended Behaviour', created by modder Deceptious, enhances the game's immersion by removing the bizarre placeholder versions of romantic partners. When characters such as Judy, Panam, or River are supposed to be busy, players won't find them awkwardly hanging out at home. Instead, they will find notes indicating that their partner has gone out, maintaining the illusion of a more dynamic relationship in the game. This mod aims to create a more immersive experience, particularly during romantic interactions.
This handy immersion tweak has been put together by prolific Cyberpunk modder Deceptious who made their own whole new intro to the game late last year.
Their latest work - 'Gone Away - Better Partner Suspended Behaviour’ - draws its name from a song by The Offspring, which earns it at least 50 extra cool points.
Basically, what it does is replace a weird, mute version of romantic partners like Judy, Panam, and River that can be found hanging out in those characters' homes.
