Classic Cartoon-Style Shooter Mouse: P. I. For Hire Won't Have Microtransactions

Mouse P.I. For Hire, developed by Fumi Games and PlaySide Studios, is an upcoming single-player FPS that promises a microtransaction-free experience. Set in the cartoonish world of Mouseburg, players take on the role of Private Investigator Jack Pepper. The game features a blend of noir elements and vintage cartoon aesthetics reminiscent of Fleisher Studios from the 1930s. Players can expect classic FPS gameplay akin to Doom and Duke Nukem, with a variety of whimsical weapons. Scheduled for a 2025 release on multiple platforms, it sets out to deliver a rich, engaging narrative without the distraction of in-game purchases.
