Call Of Duty Is Letting Console Players Further Disable Cross-Play
Briefly

Call of Duty Season 3 will launch on April 2 for Black Ops 6, bringing extensive content updates including a new battle pass, weapons, and maps, alongside a return to Verdansk. A notable feature is the ability for console players to turn off cross-play in standard modes, aimed at combating ongoing cheating issues. Activision has committed to rigorous anti-cheat initiatives such as banning cheaters and upgrading Ricochet features. The update will be rolled out over two days, enhancing gameplay and user experience in both Black Ops and Warzone.
With the launch of Season 3 and return of Verdansk, Activision is looking to crack down on cheaters and provide a hacker-free experience for players.
Part of this change will finally give console players the ability to turn off cross-play in standard Black Ops 6 multiplayer matches, as this feature was previously only available to disable in Ranked Play mode.
Activision is even going as far as issuing temporary bans and removing illegally-obtained camos mid-match.
Season 3 of Warzone adds the Verdansk map with classic features, original Gulag design, and 150-player matches.
