"I think the honest answer is yes. I worry about that,"
"Obviously, there was a plan with the two [Modern Warfare] games and then this. We'll see what the franchise does in the future."
"We're absolutely going to bring it from a content perspective in our live seasons,"
"How can we have new gameplay experiences? More content, more maps, weeklies, with functional stuff like deeper weapon prestige experiences."
Black Ops 7 launches November 14, roughly a year after Black Ops 6. Treyarch is concerned about potential fatigue from consecutive yearly releases and notes a similar Modern Warfare 2/3 pattern in 2022–2023. Treyarch plans to mitigate fatigue through expanded live-season content that introduces new gameplay experiences, additional maps, weekly content, and deeper weapon prestige systems. Zombies mode includes the Ashes of the Damned map, an armored truck called Ol' Tessie, and a zombie bear named Zursa. A multiplayer beta runs October 2–8 with early access for preorders; the game will release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
