"Activision has confirmed that, in fact, some Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 skins will carry forward to Black Ops 7--but they're limited to a handful of Black Ops 6 Zombies skins. For anyone just catching up, Activision originally announced that Black Ops 7 would support the Carry Forward program and allow players to bring their Black Ops 6 skins to Black Ops 7. However, Activision later canceled these plans and confirmed that most skins--including ones people paid money for--are not carrying forward."
"When Activision canceled the Carry Forward program for Black Ops 7, the company said "Black Ops 7 needs to feel authentic to Call of Duty and its setting." Many took this to mean Activision was reacting to the online discussion about Call of Duty's wacky and weird skins, but the company never said as much. While most guns, skins, and operators from Black Ops 6 will not carry forward to Black Ops 7, double XP tokens and GobbleGums for Zombies will indeed carry forward."
Activision confirmed limited carry-forward of Call of Duty skins from Black Ops 6 to Black Ops 7, restricted to a handful of Zombies operator skins. The four Main Quest operator skin rewards earned in Black Ops 6 will be usable in Black Ops 7 at launch, and the New Orders Prestige Level 1,000 operator skin will be available for Samuels on day one. The Guild Override camo skin for preorders also carries forward. Most guns, skins, and operators will not carry forward, but double XP tokens and Zombies GobbleGums will transfer. Activision said Black Ops 7 needs to feel authentic to its setting.
