Conversations with multiple AAA developers are underway about a potential Mistborn video game, but the project is at an early stage and would take years to materialize. The rights holder intends to retain video game adaptation rights and invites interested studios or publishers to contact representatives. Mistborn is part of the broader Cosmere setting, which has inspired tabletop RPGs and a Mistborn deckbuilder. The franchise creator contributed design work to the tactics game Moonbreaker. A prior Mistborn game, Mistborn: Birthright, was canceled, and protagonist Kelsier appeared as a Fortnite guest character through a relationship with Epic.
